如何在澳洲成為資訊工程師？

UNSW 對非相關本科的做法很特別：學生仍申請 MIT，但會收到 Graduate Certificate in IT / MIT packaged pathway，總課程長度仍然是兩年；而且不要求數學先修。 Sydney 的 MCS 則明確定位為既適合進入 IT industry、也適合已有背景者；computing qualification 才涉及 Advanced Entry。 UTS MIT 為兩年制，有多種本科入學途徑，且課程包含 Professional Practice，但目前 ACS 清單只涵蓋至 2026 commencement。 UOW MCS 明確接受任何領域 Bachelor、約 60% 平均。
Victoria 的差別也很明顯：Melbourne 的兩年 MIT 要求申請人提供已修過的 programming subject syllabus；Monash 則是 2 年版接受任何本科且約 60%，1.5 年版才要求完整 IT foundation。 RMIT 接受任何本科、GPA 2/4，而且沒有 prerequisite subject；不過它的「internship opportunities」不能寫成 guaranteed placement，因為官方同一頁明確說 there are no placements in this course，正式必做的是最後一學期 industry partner project。 Swinburne 則是目前最適合在文章中特別標出「實習」的學校之一：MIT 接受任何本科，符合成績資格者可申請 12週可計學分 Professional Masters Internship。
Queensland 方面，UQ MIT 很特殊——2027 admission requirement 明確規定本科要來自 IT、CS、Software/Computer Engineering 等以外的領域，GPA 5/7，因此本質上就是 conversion master。 QUT 的兩年制 MIT 則接受任何本科、GPA 4/7，而且新版課程已加入橫跨兩學期的兩個 WIL units。 ACS 現行清單則顯示 UQ、Griffith、QUT 的上述主要課程目前都涵蓋 2027 commencement。
西澳最值得特別標示的是 ECU：Master of Computer Science 官方直接說適合「沒有 previous computing experience」而想進入 IT profession 的學生，而且最後一學期可以在 Applied Project 與 Professional Placement 之間選擇；placement 通常約 300–450 小時，但需獲核准，因此也不是每位學生自動安排。 相反，Curtin Master of Computing 要求 IT/CS/Engineering 本科，或非相關本科但已有 Programming、Operating Systems、Computing Mathematics 能力。 UWA 不要求 IT 本科，但要求 WAM 65% 加 Mathematics Methods equivalent。
南澳則值得重新寫：新的 Adelaide University MIT 接受一般 Bachelor、GPA 4.5/7，且 Computing & Innovation 課程內有 18 units WIL，包括 Industry Research Project 與兩個 ICT Master Capstone。 Flinders 要分開看：Master of IT 接受一般本科，但 Master of Computer Science 要求 CS/IT/ICT Engineering 或 closely related degree；MIT Network & Cybersecurity 也要求 IT/CS Bachelor。
ANU 的 Standard Master of Computing 接受一般 Bachelor、GPA 5/7，而 COMP8830 是真正的 postgraduate Computing Internship，屬於 WIL placement、12 units、約 240 小時，但採競爭性錄取。
